Manni is the musical pseudonym for Tom Cook a singer, musician, performer,
artist, actor and general creator.
Manni is the modern dance/electrical output of Toms work, other musical
styles and work can be found in the collaborations section.
What happenns when an obsessive musician gets to grips with electrical
know how. Using outboards samplers and sequencers but only sampling himself
or collaborators Manni is the convoluted explorations of such an impact.
Lo-fi beats, cut-up vocals and guitars, layers of sounds and samples but
with the drive and edibility of good songs. Electrical harsh sequencing,
70's synths, dark step and break beat marry with modern compositional styles.
Electro, musique concrete, pyschaedelics, funk, idiocy, mashed dance beats,
acoustical environments and retro rock all baked in a Manni pie.
